On November 27, 2016, the new church year begins with the Season of Advent. Advent beings on the fourth Sunday before Christmas. (Christmas Day is not counted as part of Advent) It is a time of preparation, self-reflections, anticipation, and excitement. It is a time in which we can look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and look forward to His Second Coming.
Throughout the Old Testament, there are numerous prophecies which refer to the coming Messiah, the Son of God. Jesus Christ fulfilled these prophecies, as recorded in the New Testament. This Advent Season, we will post a prophecy every day, and the scripture in which Jesus fulfilled the prophecy. Each day, experience the anticipation of the coming Messiah, and the glory of the fulfillment!
