Context: The author of Psalm 66 and 67 is unknown. It is possible that David wrote them. Psalm 66 is one of praise and joy to the Lord God. It is a song we should all sing in our actions everyday so that all may see the Light of the Lord within us. It also looks forward to the day when Israel will be restored. Psalm 67 is one of the shortest psalms, with only seven verses/stanzas. The number seven represents completeness, perfection. The psalm describes the kingdom of God. Psalm 68 is written by David. It describes the strength of the King. His triumph and His glory.
