Context: Chapter 32 contains the Song of Moses, which was also recorded in Exodus 15.  This song, which Israel was to memorize and sing, was to serve as a reminder to them of what could happen if they do not keep their covenant with the Lord.  As we read it, we can see that it is what came to pass for the Israelites.  In the final section of the chapter, we also see the Lord tell Moses where he will die.  Before his death, however, Moses blesses each of the tribes.  The final chapter of this book, records the death of Moses.  Moses may have written it before he died, as the Lord had told him what was going to occur, however, most believe that Joshua wrote this final chapter.  Joshua had been blessed by Moses and went on to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land.
