Commentary: Jesus condemns the Pharisees for their hypocrisy, stating seven woes against them. After addressing the Pharisees, Jesus warns the people: they must always be prepared for Christ’s coming and return. We are to take our responsibilities do them to the best of our ability, which is pleasing to the Lord. God will never give us more than that of which we are capable.
