Commentary: Job's response in these two chapters ignores his friends. Job is confident of his innocence and asks to be allowed to plead his case before God. Job also complains about the unjust social conditions, how the wicked are not punished for their deeds. Job expresses his desire for God's justice.
Focus Verses: 23:4-7 Job is confident of his innocence. Do you possess and assert such confidence in your actions for the Lord? Is Job justified in his confidence?
