Commentary: We are to keep our promises and give cheerfully, not begrudgingly. We are rewarded for giving cheerfully, but not always in the way we expect or desire. Paul again defends himself agains false accusations. Paul understands the importance of spending time joyfully with the Corinthians, which is why he is hard on the church in his letters. When we speak against someone, we must be carful to know and understand all the facts.
Focus Verses: 10:17-18 Paul speak of humility and humbleness. Do you exemplify these traits? Why should you?
