“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I have said to you.” John 14:26 (ESV) “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about Me.” John 15:26 (ESV)

Pentecost is 21 days from today, and we, here at The Forgiveness Foundation, want to help everyone come to a better understanding of the Holy Spirit. John 14:26 and John 15:26 tell us that the Holy Spirit bears witness of Christ and helps the believer understand their relationship with Jesus and helps the non-believer come to salvation through Jesus Christ. This past week as Anthony Bartee was strapped to a gurney waiting to learn if he would be executed in Texas, I prayed that the Holy Spirit would remind Anthony of scriptures that TFF shared with him, especially if Anthony was not saved.

Take some time this week to pray, reflect, and meditate over these two verses, John 14:26 and John 15:26. Allow the Holy Spirit time to speak to you.
