Join with us today, go to www.theforgivenessfoundation.org, our website, click the PayPal logo and follow the instructions to make a gift of any size to support The Forgiveness Foundation Christmas Card Outreach 2012. You want to participate in sharing the Gospel with men and women on death row but you do not feel comfortable making a gift online. You can mail your gift to The Forgiveness Foundation, 100 2nd Street, P. O. Box 2634, Charlottesville, Virginia 22902.

There are 3,199 men and women on death row in the United States. Most of them are forgotten by the outside world. Jesus has not forgotten them. Neither should those who follow Him. It is important to let those who believe they are unloved to know they are loved – it is important to let them know they are loved by Jesus Christ and those who follow Him. Join The Forgiveness Foundation in honoring the great commission, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19 (ESV).

If you want to join with The Forgiveness Foundation in reaching the men and women on death row in the United States and are unable to assist with your finances. Join us in prayer. Pray for the Lord to provide for The Forgiveness Foundation Christmas Card Outreach 2012 financial need, pray for the people who are able to provide financial support, pray for the facility to draw the cards, for the people who are drawing and inscribing cards, addressing envelopes, and most importantly, that the Lord prepares the heart of those who receive a card to be receptive to the message.

Executions Scheduled For July 2012

As I write this newsletter, Samuel Lopez, of Arizona is the only person who was scheduled for execution during the month of June that has not been executed or had his sentence commuted to life without the possibility of parole. Currently Samuel’s execution is still on for noon today, June 27, in Arizona. To date, 22 men have been executed this year. That is 1 more man than was executed during the same time period last year. I am thankful for the people who have joined with The Forgiveness Foundation in prayer and financial support helping us share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with every man who was executed this year.

Five men are scheduled to be executed during the month of July:

July 18 – Yokamon Hearn, Texas

July 24 – Darien Houser, Pennsylvania (Stayed)

July 25 – John Koehler, Pennsylvania (Stayed)

July 26 – Willie Clayton, Pennsylvania (Stayed)

July 26 – John Eley, Ohio

Please pray for Yokamon, Darien, John, Willie, and John.  Pray for salvation if unsaved, peace if saved, and if any of these men are innocent that it be discovered before they are executed. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of Yokamon, Darien, John, Willie and John’s, sin at Calvary. All that remains is for them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, to receive the free gift of salvation and eternal life. Please pray earnestly for these men, keeping in mind that in God’s eyes, murder is a sin and in the eyes of Texas, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, murder is a crime that, in these cases, is punishable by death. At Calvary, over 2,000 years ago, Jesus accepted the punishment for the sin of the murders these men are convicted of committing and now they need to accept the salvation and forgiveness Jesus desires to give them.

Please check our website, www.theforgivenessfoundation.org, for current information regarding stays of execution and additional people being scheduled for execution during the course of the month.

Happy 4th of July

In closing I wish you a wonderful 4th of July holiday and encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the importance that date in history has on your freedom to practice your Christian faith in this country.  Jesus made a point of telling the disciples to “go” and share the Gospel before He returned to heaven to be with the Father.  Living in the United States of America is a spiritual blessing that allows us to “go” and share the Gospel.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. (19) Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, (20) and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV) Do you want to share the Gospel with men and women on death row? Do you want to share the Gospel with men, women, and young people all over the world? In closing, I encourage you to help us with your prayer and financial support.  If you are unable to help us financially, I encourage you to pray for God’s provision for TFF. If you are able to make a gift to our ministry, you can make it online at, www.theforgivenessfoundation.org, click onto the PayPal logo and follow the instructions. If you prefer, you may mail your gift to The Forgiveness Foundation, 100 2nd Street NW, P. O. Box 2634 Charlottesville, Virginia 22902.
