Re: November 2012 Newsletter
Dear Friend,
Thanksgiving is just 21 days away. It is a time where families gather and celebrate, as the Pilgrims did at Plymouth Rock nearly 400 years ago, the blessing which our Lord and Savior has granted us throughout the course of the year. Family and friends gather around to share in a feast which has traditionally included a stuffed turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. I encourage you to take a moment to look around the table and as you bless the bounty which you are about to enjoy, include in your prayer thanksgiving for those who are enjoying a Thanksgiving meal and your company.
Thirty-five men have been executed so far this year. It is likely that number will grow to 40 by Thanksgiving Day and 42 by Christmas Day. Some did not finish high school while some had advanced degrees. Some were unemployed while others were professionals. Some were abused children while others were raised in, what society would consider typical homes. At first glance it would appear that the only thing these men had in common is that they all had murdered someone. They actually have a great deal more in common. They are sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, grandsons, and grandfathers. Regardless of the crime for which they have been executed, they were loved and they loved. Please take a moment and pray for the loved one who is grieving the loss of one of the men who was executed this year.
The Forgiveness Foundation has a lot to be thankful for this year. Over the course of this year the Lord has allowed our ministry to touch the hearts of men and women on death row USA allowing us to share in some of them asking Jesus Christ to be the Lord and Savior of their lives. Two of those men have been executed this year and a third is scheduled to be executed this month. Some of those men we had written to for years without a response.
The World Wide Web ministry has grown beyond anything I could have ever imagined when TFF put up our website in 2006. This year the number of people who visited The Forgiveness Foundation Website has tripled the number of visits last year. That’s exciting! It is even more exciting knowing that two months are left in the year. The Forgiveness Foundation International Web Ministry’s primary purpose is to encourage people all over the world to read the Bible and pray daily bringing the unbeliever to a relationship with Jesus Christ while helping the believer develop a deeper relationship and faith with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through Bible study and prayer. To date The Forgiveness Foundation has regular visits from 128 countries around the world and prayer partnerships with churches and individuals in Great Britain, Australia, India, South Africa, and Brazil.
The Forgiveness Foundation Christmas card outreach is our best known and to our knowledge most successful ministry to death row. Christmas is just 54 days from today and we need your help to purchase postage to mail nearly 3,500 hand drawn Christmas cards. Consider a gift of any size to help get the true message of Christmas in the hands of a condemned man or woman in the United States.
Executions Scheduled For November 2012
Five men are scheduled to be executed during the month of November:
· November 06 – Garry Allen, Oklahoma
· November 08 – Mario Swain, Texas
· November 08 – Hubert Michael, Pennsylvania
· November 13 – Brett Hartman, Ohio
· November 14 – Ramon Hernandez, Texas
· November 15 – Preston Hughes, Texas
Please pray for Garry, Mario, Hubert, Brett, Ramon, and Preston. Pray for salvation if unsaved, peace if saved, and if any of these men are innocent that it be discovered before they are executed. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of Garry, Marion, Hubert, Brett, Ramon, and Preston’s, sin at Calvary. All that remains is for them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, to receive the free gift of salvation and eternal life. Please pray earnestly for these men, keeping in mind that in God’s eyes, murder is a sin and in the eyes of Oklahoma, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, murder is a crime that, in these cases, is punishable by death. At Calvary, over 2,000 years ago, Jesus accepted the punishment for the sin of the murders these men are convicted of committing and now they need to accept the salvation and forgiveness Jesus desires to give them.
Please check our website, www.theforgivenessfoundation.org, for current information regarding stays of execution and additional people being scheduled for execution during the course of the month.
In order to reach the men and women on death row and the world through the internet, The Forgiveness Foundation must purchase supplies like all other non-profit organizations and businesses. We need your financial support to purchase these supplies. Each month we use postage, paper, envelopes, and toner for our printers, electricity, telephone, and internet to take the love of Jesus Christ to the men and women on death row by mail and to over 127 countries through our web site. We need your assistance to share the Gospel. Prayerfully consider a gift to support The Forgiveness Foundation. You may make your gift online by going to our website, www.theforgivenessfoundation.org, click on the PayPal logo and follow the instructions. If you prefer, you may mail your gift to:

I close with this scripture, (16) And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with tax collectors and sinners, they said to his disciples, “How is it that He eats with tax collectors and sinners?” (17) When Jesus heard it He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Mark 2:6-17. (NKJV) We at The Forgiveness Foundation thank everyone who helps us reach the lost for Christ through your prayers and financial support.
