Earl RingoEarl Ringo, Jr., was executed by the state of Missouri on September 10, 2014. He was pronounced dead at 12:31 am local time, inside the execution chamber at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostics, and Corrections Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He was 40 years of age. Earl was executed for the murders of 22-year-old JoAnna Baysinger and 45-year-old Dennis Poyser on July 4, 1998, during a robbery of the Ruby Tuesday’s where JoAnna and Dennis worked.

Earl was abused as a child by his mother’s boyfriend. Once, he was beaten so severely that he could not attend school for several weeks. However, he, nor his mother, sought medical treatment for his injuries. Earl lived in poverty during his childhood.

Please pray for peace and healing for the families of JoAnna Baysinger and Dennie Poyser. Please pray for the family of Earl. Earl’s last words included a statement from the Quran.
