Commentary: God confirms His covenant with the Israelites, then provides Moses with instructions for building a portable tabernacle. Specific instruction was given as to who was to give what and who was to build what parts. Moses was also given instructions on building the Ark of the Covenant, the table of showbread, and the golden lampstand. Items provided by the Lord were placed inside the Ark of the Covenant. The instructions given by the Lord for what Moses was to do were precise.

Focus Verses: Exodus 26:1-37 – God’s attention to detail is significant. There was and is no question of how He wanted His place of worship arranged and decorated. What does this attention to detail signify about God in your life?
