Commentary: Psalm 72 was likely written by King David for Solomon. It also relates to the coming of Jesus Christ. Psalms 73 and 74 were both written by Asaph, a temple musician. Psalm 73 reminds us that our life is not limited to this earth. Psalm 74 is a prophetic psalm, warning of an enemy coming to invade Israel. The enemy will defile the temple and level it. Only God can help and rescue and restore His people.
