Commentary: David is the author of all of today’s psalms. Parts of Psalm 108 have been recorded in two other psalms, yet here it is again. It is a joyful psalm. Psalm 109 is a Messianic Psalm. It looks to the suffering experienced by Jesus and the betrayal of Judas. Psalm 110 is also a Messianic psalm. It foretells the coming of Jesus Christ. The first verse is used in the Gospels against the Pharisees to prove Jesus is the Messiah, descended from the royal line of David.
Focus Verses: Psalms 109:26-27 – Do you give praise and glory to the Lord? Do you honor Him in your life?
