1 and 2 PeterCommentary: Jesus Christ, a man without sin, suffered horribly for our sins. How then, can we not expect to suffer for our faith in Him? We are to strive to live a holy life, life without sin, a life that is pleasing to Him, turning from the temptations of the world. In his final words, Peter first addresses the elders, calling them to be shepherds, witnesses, and examples. The younger are to be submissive to their elders.
