Commentary: In this letter, John addresses the topic of hospitality. As followers of Christ, we are to help those in need. Help can be given in many different forms and it does not always have to be given to strangers. We are also not to be prideful or gossip, nor are we to imitate those who are.

Focus Verses: 3 John 1:5-8 – Is there someone around you who needs help? How can you provide help for your friends? Is there another way you can be providing help?
