Two more strong earthquakes, measuring at least 6.0 magnitude have struck Taiwan. Since Taiwan experienced one of the strongest earthquakes in the nation’s history in early April, the area has been experiencing ongoing seismic activity. At least two people died, and six others were injured, after a shooting at a block party in in Memphis, Tennessee. There are at least two suspects, however, no one has yet been arrested. Gang Violence Continues in Haiti
From the beginning of the year, over 2,500 people have been killed or injured due to ongoing gang violence in Haiti. The majority of the violence has centered around the capital, Port-au-Prince. Gang violence escalated after unelected Prime Minister Ariel Henry flew to Kenya to meet with other world leaders. He resigned days later and no new government has yet been established in Haiti. Gangs are blocking supply routes, making problems with healthcare and hunger worsen. Pray for all affected. Pray for peace.

Russia continues to attack Ukraine, destroying infrastructure and homes. At least seven people, including two children, were killed in a recent attack in Synelnykove, Ukraine. Borsen Building Burns in Denmark
The 400-year-old historic former stock exchange building, known as Borsen, has suffered severe damage from a fire. Nearly all historic artifacts were rescued from the interior. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Danish Chamber of Commerce, which owns Borsen, has already vowed to rebuild, hoping to learn some lessons from France’s Notre Dame cathedral, which burned in 2019 and is now scheduled to be reopened this year.

7 Killed at a Race in Sri Lanka
At least seven people died, including one child, at a motor car race in Diyatalawa, an army base town in Sri Lanka. Twenty-one others were injured in the crash that saw a car plow into spectators.
