At least 24 people died after part of a mountainside highway collapsed in Guangdong province. At least 30 others were injured when 20 cars fell into the collapsed portion of the road. The cause of the collapse is under investigation, however, last week the region experienced flash flooding as rivers overran their banks. Pray for the families of the deceased. At least three people died after Cyclone Hidaya made landfall in Tanzania, causing strong winds and heavy rain. The storm resulted in dozens of sailors needing to be rescued. Pray for the families of the deceased. Pray for all affected. Pray for safety.

About 70 construction crew members became trapped with a building they were working on in George, South Africa, collapsed. So far, 20 individuals have been rescued. Cyclone Hidaya brought heavy rains and flooding to areas of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. Hundreds of people have had their homes destroyed as a result of the storm. Flooding across the country resulted in the deaths of over 200 individuals, with at least 90 people missing. Pray for the families of the deceased. Pray for all affected.
