Kenneth Hogan, Oklahoma

Kenneth Eugene Hogan was executed by the state of Oklahoma on January 24, 2014.  He was pronounced dead at 6:13 pm local time, inside the execution chamber at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester, Oklahoma.  Kenneth was 52 years of age.  He was executed for the murder of 21-year-old Lisa Renee Stanley on January 28, 1988, inside of her Oklahoma City home.  Kenneth spent the last 25 years of his life on Oklahoma’s death row.

Witnesses testified that Kenneth was a loving family man and father before his arrest.  Kenneth was active in the church, volunteered, and once painted a house for a family as a surprise.  He was previously arrested for burglary.  Kenneth was unemployed at the time of his arrest.
