Marshall Gore Executed in Florida

Marshall Lee Gore was executed by the state of Florida on October 1, 2013. He was pronounced dead at 6:12 pm EDT, inside the execution chamber at the Florida State Prison near Raiford, Florida. Marshall was 50 years of age. He was executed for the rape and murder of 30-year-old Robyn Gayle Novick on March 10, 1988, in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Marshall was also convicted of killing 19-year-old Susan Marie Roark on January 31, 1988, in Cleveland, Tennessee. He attempted to kill Tina Corolis three days after murdering Robyn.

Marshall alleged that he was abused as a child and had a history of alcohol abuse. Marshall had previously served time for a firearms conviction and was suspected in 15 sexual assault cases and one other attempted murder case.
