Frank Spisak, Jr. Executed in Ohio
Frank Spisak, Jr., Ohio
The state of Ohio executed Frank G. Spisak, Jr., on February 17, 2011. Frank was pronounced dead at 10:34 am local time inside the execution chamber at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Mansfield, Ohio. Frank was 59 years of age. He was executed for the murder of 57-year-old Rev. Horace T. Rickerson on February 1, 1982, 57-year-old Timothy Sheehan on August 27, 1982, and 17-year-old Brian Warford on August 30, 1982. Frank also shot 55-year-old John Hardaway, who survived his injuries. All the shootings occurred around Cleveland, Ohio. Frank spent the last 28 years of his life on Ohio’s death row.
According to his parents, Frank had gender issues from childhood. Frank had been a transvestite (enjoyed wearing woman’s clothes) and planned to have a sex-change operation, however, he changed his mind. Instead, he decided he wanted to become Hitler, and began waging war on African Americans and Jews. While in prison, he reverted back to his female identity, suing the state for “keeping her locked up on Death Row in an all male prison environment where she cannot received appropriate hormonal and surgical treatment for her physical and mental defects.”
Please pray for peace and healing for the families of Horace Rickerson, Timothy Sheehan, and Brian Warford. Pray for healing for John Hardaway and his family. Please pray for the family of Frank.
