Jason WilliamsAlabama executed Jason Oric Williams on May 19, 2011. Jason was pronounced dead at 6:19 pm local time inside the execution chamber at the Holeman Correctional Facility in Atmore, Alabama. Jason was 43 years of age. He was executed for the murder of 46-year-old Gerald Paravicini, 45-year-old Linda Barber, 50-year-old Freddie Barber, and their son, 22-year-old Bryan Barber, on February 15, 1992, in Irvington, Alabama. Jason also physically assaulted Gerald’s wife and shot their 16-year-old son in the face. Jason also shot 16-year-old Brad Barber. Both teens survived their injuries. In the hours leading up to the shooting, Jason used crack cocaine, LSD, and alcohol. Jason spent the last 18 years of his life on Alabama’s death row.

Jason was abandoned by his parents when he was young. He went to live with his aunt and her husband, who would beat him. He was later placed in a children’s home where he was physically and sexually abused.
