Prophecy:

6For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given,
    and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 9:6, NIV)

Fulfillment:

31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.  (Luke 1:31, NIV)

3 regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David, 4 and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.  (Romans 1:3-4, NIV)
