Paul Goodwin, Missouri

Paul Goodwin was executed by the state of Missouri on December 10, 2014. He was pronounced dead at 1:17 am local time, inside the execution chamber at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Corrections Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He was 48 years of age. Paul was executed for sexually assaulting and murdering Joan Crotts, his elderly neighbor, on March 1, 1998, in St. Louis County.

As a child, Paul struggled in school, failing multiple grades, and was eventually placed in a special high school program. Paul never graduated from high school.
