Lisa Ann Coleman was executed by the state of Texas on September 17, 2014. She was pronounced dead at 6:23 pm local time, inside the Walls Unit execution chamber at the Huntsville State Penitentiary in Huntsville, Texas. She was 38 years of age. Lisa was executed for kidnapping and starving to death nine-year-old Davontae Williams on July 26, 2004. Lisa shared an apartment with her lover Marcella Williams, who was Davontae’s mother, where they killed the child. Marcella received a life sentence after pleading guilty.

Lisa was born as a result of rape. She was sexually abused throughout her childhood and knifed in the back by a cousin at the age of 11. Lisa spent part of her childhood in foster care, rarely seeing her mother. Her mother gave her the nickname “Pig.” By the age of 16, Lisa was addicted to drugs and alcohol. Lisa had previously been arrested for burglary and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
