Brian Davis Executed in Oklahoma

Brian Darrell Davis was executed by the state of Oklahoma on June 25, 2013. He was pronounced dead at 6:25 pm CDT, inside the execution chamber at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester, Oklahoma. Brian was 39 years of age. He was executed for the rape and murder of 52-year-old Josephine “Jody” Haley Sanford, which occurred during the early morning hours of November 4, 2001, in Brian’s Poca City, Oklahoma apartment. Jody was the mother of Brian’s girlfriend Stacey Sanford. Brian stole Jody’s van after stabbing her to death.
