Ronald Lott Executed in Oklahoma

Ronald Clinton Lott was executed by the state of Oklahoma on December 10, 2103. He was pronounced dead at 6:06 pm CST, inside the execution chamber at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester, Oklahoma. Ronald was 53-years-of age. He was executed for the murder of 83-year-old Anna Laura Fowler on September 2, 1986, inside her Oklahoma City home. Four months later, on January 22, 1987, Ronald broke into the home of 93-year-old Zelma Cutler, who lived across the street from Anna. Zelma was raped and murdered. Both women lived alone.

Ronald was born into extreme poverty and rarely had enough to eat. His father was physically abusive toward Ronald and his siblings. Ronald had a history of abusing drugs and alcohol, beginning at the age of 11. As a child, Ronald spent time in a children’s home which abused the children.
