Oil Tanker and Cargo Ship Collide in the North Sea
A US oil tanker carrying jet fuel and a cargo ship carrying highly toxic chemicals with a Portuguese flag collided in the North Sea. One crew member of the Portuguese-flagged ship remains missing, while all other crew members on both vessels were rescued, with some injuries. It is confirmed that some jet fuel has leaked into the water but the full environmental damage is not yet known. An investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing. Pray for safety. Pray for containment of the dangerous chemicals and fuel.

13 Killed in Flood in Argentina
At least 13 individuals are dead after a flood in the port city of Bahía Blanca, Argentina. The flooding, which was caused by eight hours of nonstop rain, destroyed roads and bridges and left many buildings flooded. The flooding also knocked out power and forced areas, including hospitals, to evacuate. Pray for the families of the deceased. Pray for all affected. Pray for safety and healing.

BWood

David Wood is scheduled to be executed on Thursday, March 13, 2025, in Huntsville, Texas. Sixty-seven-year-old David is convicted of murdering 23-year-old Ivy Williams, 15-year-old Desiree Wheatley, 20-year-old Karen Baker, 17-year-old Angelica Frausto, 24-year-old Rosa Casio, and 14-year-old Dawn Smith between May and August of 1987, in El Paso County, Texas. 15 Injured in Accidental South Korea Bombing
Fifteen people were injured in Pocheon, South Korea, near the North Korean border, after two South Korean Air Force planes accidentally dropped eight bombs on civilian areas. Two of the fifteen were seriously injured. An investigation is ongoing, however, at least one plane had entered the wrong coordinates. Pray for healing for the injured. Pray for all affected.

Happy Birthday President Jackson!!
Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of the United States of America, served from March 4, 1829, until March 4, 1837. Andrew was born on March 15, 1767, in Waxhaws. The Waxhaws settlement was in South Carolina, however, it was extremely close to the North Carolina border. Historians cannot definitively say in what state he was born.

1 Killed in Australian Flood
At least one person was killed, and at least a dozen others injured, after a cyclone caused flooding and other damage in Queensland and New South Wales. The storm knocked down power lines and trees. Dozens of individuals had to be rescued from their homes and cars. Pray for the family of the deceased. Pray for healing for the injured. Pray for all affected.

Increased Tensions in South Sudan
In 2018, two leaders signed a peace agreement that ended a five-year civil war that had resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. However, tensions remained high in the region and are increasing, prompting the United States to order all non-emergency staff to leave the country. Pray for peace. Pray for the families of the deceased and all affected by the civil war.

Over 1,000 Killed in Syria
Over 1,000 Syrians, a large number of which were Christians, were murdered over several days. The massacres were taped and posted online. In December, then-President Bashar Assad was removed from power and replaced with current Interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa, who was once a member of ISIS and currently is part of a US-designated terrorist group. Pray for the families of the deceased. Pray for all affected. Pray for peace.

James “Jemmie” Madison, Jr., 4th President of the United States of America, served from March 4, 1809, until March 4, 1817. James was born on March 16, 1751, in Port Conway, Virginia at midnight and was the oldest of 12 children. He was one of seven presidents born in Virginia.

Pope Francis in Hospital
Eight-eight-year-old Pope Francis has been admitted to a hospital, where he will remain for as long as necessary. The Vatican announced that the Pope has a "polymicrobial infection" of his respiratory tract. He is considered stable but in need of rest to fully heal. Pray for his health.
