Ceasefire Between Israel and Hamas
Leaders of Hamas and Israel reached a ceasefire agreement with the help of Qatar, Egypt, and the United States. Few details are known about the deal, however, it halts fighting, permits the passage of humanitarian vehicles and supplies, and exchanges the 94 remaining hostages kidnapped by Hamas for the 1890 prisoners held by Israel. Chairlift Collapse at Ski Resort in Spain
A chairlift at the Astún restore in the Spanish Pyrenees collapsed, resulting in numerous injuries. At least two women remain in intensive care. Several others were treated at the resort and about 10 people were taken to a local hospital. The incident is believed to have been caused by a loose pulley, resulting in a partial collapse of the support structure and the cable losing tension. Pray for healing. Pray for safety. 7 Killed in Ghana
At least seven individuals were killed in a clash with soldiers at a mine in the central Ashanti region. The soldiers claimed they were attacked by about 60 illegal miners and were forced to act in self-defense. An investigation is ongoing. Pray for the families of the deceased.
