15 Killed in New Orleans, Louisiana Attack
At least 15 individuals are dead, and 30 others are injured after a man drove his vehicle into a crowd at Bourbon and Canal streets in New Orleans, Louisiana during a New Year’s celebration. The driver was later killed in a shootout with police. The attack is still being investigated and a motive has not been revealed. Pray for the families of the deceased. Pray for healing for the injured. Pray for peace.

Utah Avalanche Kills 1
A split boarder died after being caught in an avalanche in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City, Utah. Rescue teams were able to locate the man using an avalanche transponder; however, he did not survive his injuries. He was buried under approximately 20 feet of snow. Pray for his family, for the safety of those participating in outdoor sports, and for the safety of rescue workers.

In the last six months, over 80 individuals have been kidnapped, with many believing to be government critics. Now, five men, including a popular cartoonist, have been found alive. The death toll from a man driving his car into a crowded Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany has risen to six after a 52-year-old recently died in the hospital. At least 299 others were injured in the attack. The driver has been arrested, although the motive for the attack has not yet been publicly revealed. Pray for the families of the deceased. Pray for the healing of the injured. Pray for all affected.

Emergency services have rescued more than 59 individuals from flooded areas in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. Over 200 calls for assistance have been received. Rescue efforts are ongoing. Pray for all affected, for safety, and for recovery.
